Stephanie Girard is one of the Industry's top Headshot photographers.  She has been voted the "Best Headshot Photographer in Los Angeles" every year since 2014 by Backstage Magazine.  She has photographed individuals from many walks of life, including Hollywood’s newest brightest young talent, as well as more recognizable faces, celebrities, and the corporate elite and has traveled worldwide, shooting in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Brazil to name a few.

This Headshot workshop is geared towards the photographer who wants to expand their skills and take their shooting to the next level.   

We will explore shooting with Natural light, studio light and a combo of both to be able to achieve  high end professional shots no matter what the client requests or  location circumstances are. We will take your headshot skills to the next level by being able to shoot more than a seamless backdrop with fixed light, and start to develop your own signature style which is what will make you the most successful as a photographer and stand out from your competitors.

Photographers attending this course MUST have a basic knowledge of their camera and its settings. This is not a course in how to use your camera or studio lights, but will focus on different lighting techniques for headshots, and how to get the best out of each client.

This workshop will be held at Stephanie's Studio in Los Angeles, CA which is located in the North Hollywood Arts district.

-Shooting headshots with Natural light

-Studio strobes and modifiers for headshot use

-Determining what is the best light for subject. 

-how to direct and pose your subject 

-the Business side of Headshots 

-Portfolio review for each photographer attending
